Dog Grooming

Our professional dog grooming services keep your pup looking and feeling their best — from baths and haircuts to nail trims and ear cleaning, we’ve got them covered!

Puppy Program

Our Puppy Program is a 1-hour grooming session designed to gently introduce pups (under 1 year old) to the salon environment. It includes a bath, ear cleaning, nail trim, and light grooming of the face, feet, and fanny. To remain in the program, visits every 4–5 weeks are required.

Dog Boarding

Our in-home dog boarding provides a safe, comfortable environment while you’re away. Boarding includes daily feeding, fresh water, and ample outdoor time for exercise and enrichment. For the health and safety of all dogs in our care, DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations must be current prior to boarding.

Pricing

$40 per night/every 24 hours

$20 for each additional dog *if in the same kennel as the first*

Cat Grooming

Our gentle cat grooming services include brushing, bathing, nail trimming, and more — all tailored to keep your feline friend clean, comfortable, and stress-free.

Kitten Program

Our Kitten Program is a 1-hour grooming session designed to gently introduce kittens (under 1 year old) to the salon environment. It includes a bath, ear cleaning, nail trim, and light grooming of the face, feet, and fanny. To remain in the program, visits every 4–5 weeks are required.

Pet Sitting Services

Drop In - 30 Minutes

A 30-minute drop-in pet sitting visit includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks or litter box care, playtime, and lots of attention and affection. I’ll also do a quick check of your pet’s well-being and tidy up pet areas, ensuring your pet is happy, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

Dogs: $20 per visit / per dog

Cats: $15 per visit / $10 for additional cats

Drop In - 60 Minutes

A 60-minute drop-in petsitting visit provides extended care and companionship, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks or litter box care, playtime, exercise, and plenty of attention and affection. This longer visit is especially helpful for households with more than three pets, ensuring each animal receives proper care and individual attention. I’ll also monitor your pets’ well-being and take care of light pet-related tidying, giving everyone a relaxed, enriching visit while you’re away.

Cat Boarding

Our cat boarding offers a calm, secure space where your cat can feel comfortable while you’re away. Boarding includes daily feeding and fresh water, with attentive care to your cat’s routine. For the health and safety of all cats in our care, Rabies, FVRCP, and FeLV vaccinations must be up to date prior to boarding.

Creative Grooming Basic (Ears, Feet, or Tail)

$25/hr

OPAWZ creative grooming pet-safe dye. A bathing service must be included to ensure the coat is properly prepped before adding color. Hourly rate is only for the coloring process (applying the color/color treatment and color rinsing.)

Nail Buffing - $15

Smooths sharp edges, safer for sensitive paws, cleaner finish, helps recede the quick

Nail Polish - $10

Add a pop of color safely! Our pet-safe nail polish is non-toxic, quick-drying, and specially formulated for dogs and cats. It's gentle on paws, easy to apply, and perfect for a fun, stylish look without compromising your pet’s health.

Anal Glands - $15

Externally expressing anal glands can relieve a pet’s discomfort and prevent infections. It also helps reduce scooting and unpleasant odors.

Nail Caps (Cats only) - $15

Nail caps for cats are small, soft, and often colorful plastic coverings that are glued onto a cat’s claws. They help prevent damage from scratching to furniture, skin, and other pets without harming the cat.

Little bit about me!

Hi, I’m the owner of Double Coated Care, a grooming and boarding service built on a lifelong passion for animals. I grew up surrounded by pets—especially double and triple-coated breeds like Huskies, Shepherds, and Malamutes—which sparked not only my love for animals but also a deep understanding of their unique grooming needs. That’s why I chose the name Double Coated Care—to reflect both the type of dogs I grew up with and my dedication to handling their coats with the knowledge and attention they deserve. While I specialize in double-coated breeds, I welcome all coat types and pet personalities.

My journey in pet care began at 16, when I started pet-sitting for family and friends. In 2020, I began offering boarding and daycare services on the side, and I quickly realized how much I loved spending my days caring for animals. That passion led me to pursue professional grooming. In 2021, I became a certified dog groomer—and I was hooked.

Wanting to grow even further, I began studying cat grooming in early 2024 by shadowing experienced professionals. I completed my training and received certification from the National Cat Groomers Institute at the beginning of 2025.

Although I had to leave the amazing salon I was working at due to health reasons, my love for grooming and pet care never faded. That’s why I launched Double Coated Care—a place where pets receive compassionate, individualized care in both grooming and sitting. Whether it’s a brush-out, a full groom, or a cozy stay while you’re away, your pet is in capable, loving hands.
